Your memory, files and voice notes stay on your computer; voice is transcribed right there. Your messages go to Claude to be answered, the same as when you use Claude directly. We never see any of it.
Yes. Ken lives in the menu bar and keeps going; closing the window just hides it. Quit it and it stops. Click the coffee cup in the app if you want your computer to stay awake for a long job.
Yes, through Telegram. Today that needs the terminal install (the “Server or any machine” tab); phone setup inside the Mac app is coming.
The app runs on Macs with macOS 14 or newer, Apple Silicon or Intel. The terminal install runs on any Mac or Linux machine. Windows isn't supported yet.
The app updates itself in the background. You never have to download anything again.
Yes. Ken is open source under the MIT license. The only cost is your Claude subscription.
